The governing body of AHAI (MGSZ) is the 10 member Presidental Committee (elected for 4 year period) and the President (elected for 2 year period). The President and the Presidential Committee is elected by AHAI Members' General Assembly on AHAI's Annual Meeting.

The mandate of the current President and Presidential Committee expires in May 2012 on AHAI Members' General Assembly's 2012 Annual Meeting.

The operative tasks of the AHAI (MGSZ) is covered by the Secretariat of AHAI: the Secretary General and the Assistant of AHAI.

The financial control is provided by the 3-member Auditing Commmittee of AHAI.
