"When I was confronted and asked if I wanted to accept the position, I said yes. I had multiple reasons, - Mr Szőcs explains - to lead an independent firm is very exciting, and the company will undergo a huge development soon. And of course, as a car engineer I have special interest in passenger vehicles, but I spent the last 15 years in the transportation vehicle business."

The Győr-based engineering office takes part in the mother company's development projects, paying special attention to the chassis and electronics development for passenger vehicles, but the engineers from Győr also deal with transmission and suspension development.

Dr Szőcs has pointed out that "two thirds of the work consists of vehicle development for Magna Steyr, the rest is production tool and production line development."
