The Chairman’s Welcome
It is my pleasure to welcome all the leaders, managers and the partners of our member companies, the representatives of the professional associations collaborating with our organisation, and all those who are interested in our industry.
The Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (AHAI) was established 10 years ago in order to provide forum to the cooperation of the players of the automotive industry. The aim of AHAI is to explore, coordinate and represent the interest of those Hungarian based companies and their partners manufacturing automotive products; effective representation thereof in (front of?) national and international organizations, ensuring continuous communication and exchange of information with partners and related governmental organizations.
Based on our significance and importance it is our fundamental aim to increase the competitiveness of the Hungarian automotive industry, to develop the suppliers’ background, and to improve the legal and financial operational conditions.
As the member companies of the Association produce 3,4 percent of the domestic GDP and cover some 25 percent of the Hungarian industrial export it is one of our most stressed/important/ goals is to perfect and strengthen the presence of the AHAI with making our voice heard at relevant topics.
